Entre Bernard Tschumi et Frank Gehry: autour de l’approche déconstructiviste en architecture
Dans le cadre de cette conférence, dans un premier temps, je vais présenter certains projets de l’architecte Bernard Tschumi. Je vais vous exposer le contenu de ces travaux vis-à-vis du contexte historique duquel ils ont émergé. Je vais aussi vous expliquer les concepts qui se situent au cœur de sa réflexion et pratique architecturale. Les concepts fondateurs de sa pratique sont l’espace, le mouvement et l’événement. Bernard Tschumi semble percevoir la conception architecturale comme la mise en scène des espaces de circulation. Tschumi conçoit l’architecturer comme un événement. Parmi les projets que je vais présenter seront : l’aménagement du Parc de La Villette, Le Musée de l’Acropole à Athènes, Le Fresnoy-Studio national des arts contemporains à Tourcoing, le Zénith de Limoges Métropole et la rénovation parc zoologique de Paris à Vincennes. Dans un deuxième temps, je vais présenter certains projets l’architecte Frank Gehry. Je vais me focaliser sur l’analyse du rapport entre le geste manuel et le geste digital dans sa réflexion et pratique architecturale. La démarche architecturale de Gehry propose une approche différente de la construction conventionnelle des divers bâtiments. Puissante, elle se joue de la pesanteur, déployant des volumes défiant les nuages. Innovante, elle provoque des ruptures visuelles revisitant les perspectives. Narrative, elle invente une conception futuriste suscitant surprises et émotions. Parmi les projets que je vais présenter seront : le bâtiment de la Cinémathèque française à Bercy de Paris, la maison dansante, ou maison qui danse au centre de Prague, le musée Guggenheim de Bilbao et le Walt Disney Concert Hall à Los Angeles.
